The Ultimate Arcade 2 Promotional FlyerThe gang at GameSetWatch.com noted today that Costco is selling the Ultimate Arcade multigame cabinet, version 2 this year just in time for the holidays.
The pre-made cabinet from Chicago Gaming Company comes with two player positions and a centered trackball. There are 100 games pre-loaded in the cabinet so you can fire it up as soon as it's opened over the holidays.
I know many builders will balk at the $1999.00 price tag, but I know there are many mechanically disinclined folks out there looking for a platform to get their game on. GameSetWatch guest-writer John Andersen had another idea I thought to be pretty intriguing, forget the arcade, just head to Costco! Can you imagine what would have happened in the 80's if a store set out an arcade game like this on freeplay?
